Do you have a club affiliation? The Los Angeles Country Club

What does supporting junior golfers mean to you? Golf has given me so much in life. My favorite memories with my Dad are on a golf course. My most competitive moments in life were played in golf tournaments (many of which the SCGA supported!). And my best friends have been made through golf. Golf has been my outlet to be outside, to think more clearly and to know myself better. So, supporting junior golfers in Southern California means everything to me!

A Golfer’s Journey:

How long have you been golfing for? Who introduced you to the game of golf? I was taught the game by my Dad and three older brothers. I probably first held a club as a four year old.

You have a free round at any golf course in the world, which are you choosing?

Dream foursome? Who’s in it and why? Fred Couples, Davis Love III, Tiger Woods. Freddy was my idol growing up. In fact, people in my family typically call me “Fred” instead of Kevin to this day!

What would you tell juniors to interest them in the game of golf? I would tell juniors to look at the long run. Do you see any 70 year olds playing basketball, football or baseball? Golf is the greatest lifelong sport there is. And you can’t beat the feeling you get when you bomb a drive or sink a long putt!

What is the best piece of advice you have ever received? The harder you work the more luck you create for yourself.
