Favorite animal: Cheetah, just because they look cool and they also run really fast.
Favorite way to relax: I do many things to relax such as hang out with my friends and family, go shopping, listen to music and I also like to read too.
Dream foursome: Niall Horan, Tom Holland and Rory McIlroy
When did you start playing golf? How did you get involved?
I first held a golf club when I was two years old, but I didn’t pick up the game until I was seven. I got involved by my father, who played golf just for fun. Then as I grew older, I started to play more golf and get more into it until it was a daily thing for me. Playing golf became like a natural habit, I just couldn’t stop playing.
What do you love most about golf?
Honestly, I love everything about golf. What I love about it most is how it challenges me to always strive to do better and never give up. Overall, I just like the challenges I face. I also like the aspect of getting to meet so many new people.
Why is it important to have Girls Golf of Southeast LA?
It’s so important to have these programs to introduce and grow the game of golf to many younger people. It’s a great way for kids to come together to learn together and befriend one another, and just learn to have fun and be competitive at the same time. I think especially with the Girls Golf of Southeast LA, we empower young girls and help them develop into wonderful people.
What is your favorite memory from Girls Golf of Southeast LA?
My favorite memories include meeting new people, especially the girls and my fellow partners in this program. Honestly, it’s so much fun working with everyone and I love it so much. I can’t pick a favorite memory because all of them are my favorite memories.
What would you say to other girls about playing golf?
I would tell other girls to enjoy the game, and hopefully you can give back to the game as well. I’ve received so much from my teachers, coaches, family and friends that I want to do what they did to the people younger than me. I want to give back to them because I think that’s how we should do things. And golf is something that I hope we all can give back. It’s a game of everything, it teaches you every aspect of life and so why not give it back? Overall, enjoy golf and give back.
