This month, the women of Annandale Women’s Golf Association welcomed SCGA Junior participants to their annual Spring Mixer, creating a special day of golf and connection. Seven junior golfers attended the event and teamed up with the ladies of Annandale for a lively 5-hole scramble. The event provided a fantastic opportunity for the juniors to learn from experienced players while fostering camaraderie and sportsmanship on the course. Following the scramble, both the juniors and the members gathered for a delightful tea party, where they continued networking and enjoyed a fun golf-themed quiz.
SCGA Junior participants and sisters, Siham and Samia, emerged as the winners of the 5-hole scramble, partnering with Alya and Megan from Annandale. The event underscored the importance of mentorship and connection, leaving a lasting impression on everyone involved. To further support the junior golfers, the ladies of Annandale generously donated golf equipment and apparel. Special thanks to Annandale Women’s GA for having. We can’t wait for another round of friendly competition and mentorship- no matter the weather!
