At the DIO Implant LA Open at Palos Verdes GC, 40 juniors participated in a clinic with LPGA Tour pro Maria Fassi. Kids not only learned tips from Fassi but were also able to get autographs and photos taken with her. Then over the weekend, kids from all of SCGA Junior’s communities made their way out to the tournament, which was an unforgettable experience for the group. Parents and juniors were grateful for the experience. One of our juniors even won a swing training golf club, and they were thrilled to get autographs from some of their favorite players, including Lizette Salas.
The JM Eagle LA Championship at Wilshire CC was equally exciting with several juniors participating in a clinic hosted by the SCPGA, featuring Andrea Lee and Mariajo Uribe. The juniors had an unforgettable time meeting both pros and asking them questions. First Tee also brought instructors to run putting and chipping stations, adding even more fun to the day.
Overall, the events were a massive success. Our partnership with the LPGA continues to grow and allowed our juniors to learn from some of the best and walk away with some pretty special memories. SCGA Junior is grateful for the opportunity to provide our kids with such a memorable experience and looks forward to future collaborations with the LPGA.
