Amid a cold and rainy December week, the Southeast Los Angeles (SELA) community came together for a day of sunshine, golf and connection. The SCGA Junior Golf Foundation hosted its annual raffle fundraiser at Don Knabe Golf Center, which featured several giveaways (including four grand prizes), local vendor activations and golf activities for the juniors.
With strong support from the SELA Parent Committee, its network and the community at large, hundreds of raffle tickets were sold in the weeks leading up to the event, raising over $7,000.
The funds go directly back into that community to enable kids in the Southeast LA area thrive on and beyond the course.
